Organic Soapberries and Wash Bag
Soapberries are a natural alternative to laundry detergent and fabric softeners. S
oapberries are the fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree which are collected and dried- the shell of the fruit is extremely high in 'Saponin' which is natures alternative to soap. These soapberries are from the
Himalayan mountains of Nepal and are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, hypo-allergenic and organic. A perfect way to care for delicate fabrics and naturally dyed fabrics.
Each small wash bag comes with a sample-size-amount of soapberries, enough for up to 15 wash loads.
1. Add 5 shells to the wash bag and place in the washing machine. This same bag can be used for 4-5 washes.
2. After 4-5 washes, place the old soapberries in the compost.
To activate the 'soap' for a cold wash, the berries can soaked in boiling water before being placed in the wash bag.
